The International Conference on Materials Science & Nanotechnology. A gathering of the field's most consequential work - presented by the people doing it.
Researchers from more than 300 institutions have shaped previous editions. A selection of those represented.
The 8th International Conference on Materials Science & Nanotechnology, a Three-days scientific event is scheduled for 18–20 October 2027, in Budapest, Hungary. Future Materials 2027 will feature a scientific program divided into four main symposiums;
To accelerate materials research by connecting the people advancing it across disciplines and borders.
Work first presented here has gone on to shape journals, patents, and products worldwide.
Rigorous, curated, and genuinely interdisciplinary - from atoms to manufacturing scale.
300+ institutions across 40+ countries, in one room, for three days.
Curated introductions and small-format sessions that turn a shared interest into a working collaboration.
A direct path from presentation to peer-reviewed proceedings and partner special issues.
Meet R&D leaders from the companies translating materials science into products.
Recognition for outstanding early-career and senior contributions across every track.
A mentorship programme, recruiting sessions, and visibility among the field’s leaders.
First looks at instrumentation, methods, and results not yet in print.
Pioneer of carbon-rich nanomaterials, fullerenes, and functional molecular architectures.
